Sevenoaks District Scouts is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Programme Team. As a member of this team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Scouting volunteers in delivering fun, exciting, and educational programs that help young people develop essential skills for life.
What You'll Do:
- Empower Volunteers: Provide guidance and resources to our amazing Scout leaders, helping them create engaging programs for their groups.
- Plan District-Wide Events: Collaborate with your team to organize exciting activities like district camps, outdoor adventures, and skill-building workshops.
- Share Your Expertise: If you have experience in outdoor activities like archery, kayaking, paddleboarding, climbing, or other areas, we'd love to tap into your knowledge!
- Foster a Love of Learning: Help young people discover new passions and develop valuable skills through hands-on experiences.
Who We're Looking For:
- Enthusiastic and Creative: Individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have a knack for coming up with fun and engaging activities.
- Team Players: Collaborative individuals who enjoy working with others to achieve common goals.
- Organized and Resourceful: Individuals who can plan and execute events effectively, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Scouting Experience (Helpful, but Not Required): Familiarity with Scouting programs and values is a plus, but we welcome anyone with a passion for youth development.
