Introduction - Sevenoaks District Scouts

Welcome to the Sevenoaks District Training Information pages

All adult leaders in Scouting are required to undertake training relevant to their specific role

The District Local Training Manager (Rose Pyne) will contact you to work through your Personal Learning Plan with you which is part of your 'Getting Started' Modules.

Learning the ropes and skills to progress within the training scheme is the learners resposibility supported by thier Group Scout Leader, Training Advisor and Local Training Manager.

Anyone new to Scouting or changing their current role to something different will find themselves back in the training loop - this should be seen as a possitive aspect in ensuring that you are given the support you need to update your knowledge and fulfill your new role.

Please visit the training pages as often as possible to take advantage of local courses being run.

You may book your place online - although you will need to wait for confirmation from County that you have met the deadline date or the course is not oversubcribed already.

Please also use the online Validation request form to inform us that you are ready to be validated.
