£1700 raised in Christmas bag packing - 23-01-2010
In the week leading up to Christmas if you happened to be shopping at Sainsburies in Otford between 10am and 4pm you may have been asked by a scout if you'd like a hand with your packing. 1st, 4th & 7th Sevenoaks Scouts were joined by 1st Orpington Guides to offer this service to Sainsburies customers which helped them collectively raise about £1700 to help them with participating in Scouting Activites and equipment storage! We would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of Sainsburies customers for their generosity over this period, and to Sainsburies for allowing us to do this.
All the scouts that took part worked very hard and did a fantastic job! WELL DONE!!
