Winter Survival - 21-02-20084 Sevenoaks Explorers took part in this years Winter Survival and came 8th place out of 27 competing teams. Winter Survival sees teams set off on Friday night from a location only disclosed hours before which can be almost anywhere in Kent. Teams travel in the cold and wet winter conditions going from checkpoint to checkpoint following a storyline and completing a misson whilst avoiding 'The Opposition'. The 40+ miles expedition continues through Saturday and for completing teams normally early into Sunday morning with only a short night stop on the Friday night. A challenging journey not for the faint hearted. The 4 Explorers almost completed the course, making it to checkpoint 25 of 30, which is a huge achievement in itself (only a few ever finish!).
